Caramelized sweet potato with bacon and cinnamon

  • 2 medium sized sweet potatoes
  • 500 gram bacon cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup


Step 1: Peel and dice your sweet potatoes into small pieces.
Step 2: Add the bacon to a pan and cook until crisp, then place them aside on a bowl with paper towel to catch the excessive fat.
Step 3: You can use the same grease of the bacon to place the sweet potatoes in there. Sprinkle the cinnamon and cook until tender (15 – 20 minutes) The cooking time will depend on how small you cut the sweet potato.
Step 4: Add the bacon to the sweet potatoes. Then combine these with the maple syrup , let it cook for another 5 minutes to get that chewy caramelized bite and then ENJOY! !
